Employing around 130 dedicated personnel including designers, technicians, surveyors and specialist manufacturing staff, including CAD/CAM technicians and process engineers, UMS has designed, manufactured and installed some 17,000 fully fitted volumetric modules into a diverse range of projects across the UK since its inception in 2002
Our 16-acre, 185,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is one of the most sophisticated in Europe. With a maximum capacity of approximately 10,000 units per year, typically a fully-fitted module currently comes off the end of the manufacturing line every 55 minutes.
However, unlike many volumetric modular building providers, UMS offers optimised building solutions that ultimately provide added sustainability, together with benefits to the client and the contractor without compromise to the functional or aesthetic integrity of the project.
